Kiwanis Club of Toano Sweet 16 Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Another golfing year is upon us! We’re asking you to consider sponsorship of our upcoming Sweet 16th
Annual Kiwanis Club of Toano Charity Golf Tournament to be held on Friday, September 15, 2023. This year’s fund-raising, charity tournament is being held at Kiskiack Golf Club, 8104 Club Drive, Williamsburg.
The Kiwanis Club of Toano was established in June 2007. Since its inception, our members have been dedicated to the Kiwanis mission of “changing the world one child, one community, at a time”. Our club works to make a difference in The Historic Triangle, …including James City County, York County, New Kent County and Williamsburg City.
Listed below are just a few of the many programs our club organizes and participates in through our volunteer members:
• Kiwanis Kids Idea Studio at Williamsburg / James City Regional Library
• Kiwanis Trackless Train / James City County Parks and Recreation
• Monthly reading and book donations to children at J. Blaine Blayton Elementary School
• Christmas donation of presents and food to multiple Williamsburg area families though the Salvation Army “Angel Tree” program
• $10,000+ in funds annually donated in the form of community grants
• $24,000+ in funds donated to Kiwanis International Eliminate Project (worldwide elimination of maternal/neonatal tetanus)
• Warhill High School | Key Club sponsorship and funding
• Toano Middle School | Builders’ Club sponsorship and funding
• Kiwanis K-Kids sponsorships, funding and program at Stonehouse Elementary School and DJ Montague Elementary School
• Food collections and donations to Salvation Army, St Olaf Food Pantry, Colonial Heritage Community Foundation
Your sponsorship contribution and/or raffle prize donations will directly impact and provide funding for these and other programs.
As our club continues to grow its fundraising efforts, our outreach to the community will also strengthen.
The Kiwanis Club of Toano is always looking for new members to join and strengthen our club.
We currently meet each Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Edgeworth Park at Newtown in Williamsburg, Virginia.
