February 14, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Enjoy lunch with the Williamsburg chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Association on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday February 14. There’ll be a social gathering at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch at 11:30.
After lunch, John Sullivan from American Eagle Flags will discuss the evolutionary changes and history of American flags (regulations, sizes, materials, and protocol).
The event will take place at Colonial Heritage, 6520 Arthur Hills Drive, Williamsburg.
The lunch menu includes a choice of entrees, a house salad, and banana cake with caramel. The entree choices are pan-seared chicken breast with herb and sundried tomato cream sauce over penne pasta or baked cod with lemon sauce, wild rice, and asparagus.
The cost of the luncheon is $21 (cash, check or credit card). Make checks payable to Colonial Heritage. RSVP to PZKell@Cox.net no later than Thursday, February 9 at 5 PM. She needs to let Colonial Heritage know your choice of entrée by that time.
The March 14 NARFE luncheon also will be held at Colonial Heritage.
The speaker will be Gary Powers, Jr., who will talk about espionage and events of the Cold War. Mr. Powers’ father was Francis Gary Powers, an American pilot whose U-2 spy plane was shot down while flying a reconnaissance mission in Soviet Union airspace in 1960.
