Jewish Film Festival: “Valiant Hearts″, 2021 (WL)

The 23rd Anniversary of the Virginia Peninsula Jewish Film Festival presents Valiant Hearts (Coeurs Vaillants) (France, 2021). A true story of exceptional bravery and survival against all odds follows the odyssey of six Jewish children in August 1942, who are forced to take refuge amidst the Louvre Museum artworks hidden in the Chateau de Chambord. Between fear, laughter outbursts and unexpected encounters, the children learn about independence and discover solidarity and friendship in tumultuous times. Running time: 1 hour 32 minutes.
