Bound to Have a Little Fun: A Celebration of String Band Music

String band music is deeply rooted in Virginia history. Family celebrations and social gatherings featured banjos and fiddles, guitars and mandolins, and other instruments to create a joyful sound. Two noted Virginia string bands, Richmond’s Cary Street Ramblers and Williamsburg’s Runaway String Band will be continuing that tradition at the Williamsburg Library with their show Bound to Have a Little Fun. Come out and enjoy a delightful evening of songs and tunes for all ages from these longtime WRL favorites.
