Ingrid Bergman plays an amnesiac being groomed by a conman (Yul Brynner) to pass herself off as the Grand Duchess Anastasia, daughter of the last Czar of Russia. As the ruse goes on, he begins to suspect that she might actually be the lost Duchess. Anatole Litvak directed this fine romantic mystery that costars Helen Hayes.
