In 19th Century Poland, a beautiful young girl is determined to live and love as she pleases which brings her into dangerous conflict with her fellow villagers. Based on a Nobel prize-winning novel, and shot in the same rotoscoped animation style as the film Loving Vincent, this Academy Award nominated movie was directed by DK Welchman and stars Kamila Urzedowska.
