This month’s title is The Complicities by Stacey D’Erasmo. After her husband’s conviction for financial fraud, Suzanne hides away from her previously comfortable life, and refuses to have anything to do with Alan. But that decision ripples down to affect Alan, their son, Alan’s new wife, and his estranged mother.
