Power in the Panels: A Graphic Novel Book Club

This month we’re discussing “The Best We Could Do” by Thi Bui. Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by reading this evocative memoir about Bui’s family’s daring escape after the fall of South Vietnam in the 1970’s and the challenges ahead as they build a new life for themselves. This Williamsburg Regional Library group meets the second Thursday of every month and is for graphic novel enthusiasts (18+, please) who want to read and talk about independent graphic novels.
