Easter Service at Historic Jamestown

All are welcome to attend the 2024 Easter Service at Historic Jamestown on Sunday, March 31, 2024. The service will begin at 9:00am. Entrance to the National Park begins at 8:30am.

For more than 65 years, people have gathered at Jamestown to celebrate Easter, making this one of the longest continually-running Community Easter services in the Country. This event is coordinated by volunteers from local churches, in cooperation with the National Park Service and Jamestown Rediscovery/ Preservation Virginia.

There is no charge to attend the Easter service! Please note: anyone wanting to stay after the ceremony to visit the Park or historic areas will need to purchase a pass at the Visitor Center.

The Easter Service will be held at a new location at Jamestown: adjacent to the Parking Lot. This site is easily accessible for all. Restroom access will be available inside the Visitor Center starting at 9:00.

Attendees to the Easter Service are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
Carpooling is encouraged. Please park only in approved parking places.
