FreeTamas is an aging boxing coach in Budapest whose relationship with his son, Ivan, has frayed to the point of estrangement. When the pair reunite for the funeral of Tamas’s wife, they are forced to address their problems. The film is masterfully acted and directed, maintaining a perfectly balanced tone between comedy and pathos. Not Rated, 1hr 25min.
